Captain Sandeep R Anand is the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Director of Premier Heavy Lift (PHL Group), bringing over four decades of invaluable experience to the organization. A dynamic and visionary leader, Captain Anand has played a pivotal role in shaping PHL Group into a leading name in Crane Rentals, Mechanical EPC, and allied services. The company is known for its commitment to excellence and innovation under his leadership.
An esteemed alumnus of T.S. Jawahar, India’s premier maritime training institute (1984 batch), Captain Anand is a Master Mariner (1993, Foreign Going Vessels) with more than 22 years of sea-going experience. During this time, he commanded a diverse range of vessels and handled a broad spectrum of cargos, including containerized goods, bulk, break-bulk, liquid cargo, as well as reefer, project, and steel cargoes. His deep maritime expertise is further complemented by his certification as an Integrated Maritime Auditor and Assessor from the American Bureau of Shipping, reinforcing his proficiency in maritime safety and governance.

Before founding PHL, Captain Anand enjoyed a distinguished 17-year career at Allcargo Logistics Limited, a leading organization in the logistics field, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer.
